DEBRA IMHOFF

Debra Joyce Imhoff (Dufresne) Born November 8th, 1951; passed away February 12th, 2011 Deb was born to Barbara and Arthur J. Dufresne on November 8th, 1951 in Tacoma, WA. She was raised by her mother Barbara and stepfather Tom Burslem here in Tacoma. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1970, where she met and married her devoted husband of 38 years, Daniel Imhoff. She spent most of her time raising her two children, James and Jodi. In her healthy years she loved camping, the outdoors, and doing many crafts. In 1998 Deb was diagnosed with a life-threatening lung disease, and she made the difficult decision to be put on a transplant list. After three long years on the list her call came, and she was given a second chance at life. Her main goal for survival was for her children (James and Jodi) to "make her grandbabies". Her prayers were answered with her three little angels, Tyler, 6, Joshua, 3, and Conner, 3. Deb would hide her pain and suffering with hugs and kisses whenever the boys were in her presence, they were her whole world and they loved her dearly. Deb was preceded by her father Arthur J. Dufresne, her brother Buddy, and her father-in-law Albert Imhoff. She is survived by her mother Barbara, stepfather Tom, husband Daniel, brother Mike, sister Cheri, children James (Stacy) and Jodi (Eric), her grandchildren Tyler, Joshua, and Conner, and many more loving relatives. We will always love and miss you, Mimi. A small private "Celebration of Life" will be held on March 26th, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the farm.
