Diana Costanzo Obituary

Diana Hapner Costanzo January 24th 1963 to May 2nd, 2011 Diana Costanzo was taken from this world too soon after a two week battle with Meningitis. Diana was a fun-loving person with a smile that would light up a room and a laugh so contagious it could get a chuckle from the most hard of hearts. She enjoyed NASCAR and nature. She is survived by her husband Jeff, children Dominic and Jasmine, granddaughter Alaina, and mother Carolyn, as well as 5 siblings, 15 nieces and nephews, and many others who miss her greatly. An open house celebration of life will be held June 5th, 2011 at Dryers Masonic Temple on 134th in Tacoma from 3pm to 6pm.

Diana...You will be missed. Our friendship goes way back to elementary school(WOW)...I was so happy to finally reconnect after many years apart. I was very excited to be able to get together as we planned. Unfortunatly, that time came too late. I will cherish all the memories we shared. Your smile brightened everyones day... My thoughts and prayers go out to your friends and family...

Auntie Ma'am, You will be truly missed! I will miss your scream when you saw me and Amber come up to your door. I wish that I was able to see you one more time to tell you how much you meant to me, Amber, and mom. We love you and miss you very much.

My aunty, I love you. I don't know what to say, there aren't enough words to express my love for you or how much I truely miss you. You were the sunshine on all of our lives. I am so glad that God thought enough of all of us that not only were you in our lives, but in our family. I miss you so much. I love you so much. Thank you for all the years, all the love and all the laughs. I'll try to keep the title of family measuring stick as well as you did, with as much grace as you did.

I really don't know what to say. Although time and distance have separated us, I still consider Diana one of my 5. Diana, Kristi, Shirley and I were really tight back in the day when our oldest kids were young. Diana was present at my 20 year old daughters' birth, and for so many other milestones in my life , too many to count. My wedding to Bruce, then years later to Jay. She was my rock. Now both Diana and Shirley are gone, and huge holes stand in their places. Diana was a shining light, a friend to all and she always tried to look at both sides of a story and find some good in everything. A place in heaven is surely set aside for Diana, now dancing with the angels. From the girls...RIP Auntie Ma'am.
