DOSHEL PATTON

Doshel (Allie) Patton Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Doshel Patton was born in her childhood home in Ruston on November 19, 1921 to Purl and Ellen Allie, and passed away on February 18, 2011 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ruth Peltier, and her husband of 55 wonderful years, CH (Pat) Patton. She is survived by her brother Jack Allie, four children, Mary Ellen Sullivan, Connie Tollefson, David Patton, and Lori Peters, five grandchildren, Gretchen Jones, Yvette Winn, Sean Tollefson, Eric Tollefson, and Mary Tollefson, and four great-grandchildren. Doshie, as her friends called her, graduated from Stadium High School (class of 1940) and the Tacoma General School of Nursing. She enjoyed gardening and was an accomplished seamstress, showering her friends and family with generous gifts of her handiwork. She lived a life full of wonderful times with friends and family, especially playing card games. A memorial service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at 3410 6th Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98406 (253-752-1264) at 11am on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. In her memory donations may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
