DOYAL ROMINE Obituary
Doyal Emory Romine Age 80, of Orting, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2011. Doyal was born to Doy and Gertrude Romine on March 2, 1931 in Portland, Oregon. Doyal, a golf enthusiast, retired after 45 years of exemplary service at The Boeing Company. He is survived by his loving wife Betty of 61 years, children Don A. and Larry J. Romine and Debra J. Osley, siblings Dwane Romine, Verna Sweitzer, Doyce Romine, Velma Webster, Vonnie Barene and Verda Mozzone, eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Doyal was preceded in death by his grandson Kevin Romine and great-granddaughter Ellie Albaugh. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at Yahn & Son Funeral Home in Auburn. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 11, 2011, at Calvary Community Church, 15116 Gary St. E, Sumner, WA 98390. To the Romine Family -
I have many fond memories of the times I spent with all your family. One that comes to mind is the camping trip to Lake Chelan and Soap Lake (I think Debbie and I were in the 9th grade!). One afternoon Doyal was on an air mattress trying to relax. Debbie and I were splashing around him and he said something a long the line of "why don't you go chase some boys" so we might leave him alone! We liked that idea! I hope that all your fun and loving memories will help you through this time.
