Esther McAtee Obituary

Esther K. McAtee (Habecker) Born Sept. 3, 1916 in Phoenix AZ. She went to be with her Lord May 21, 2011. She was married to Ernest F. McAtee Sept. 23, 1934 and moved to Tacoma in 1944. Later she when to work for Tacoma General as a Seamstress where she retired. Mom was also a dress and quilt maker. She loved to travel but her family was most important in her life. She had four children, Ernest F. McAtee, Kenneth (Barbara) McAtee, Charlotte (Frank) Mecklenburg, and Ellen (Dave) Cohrs. She had two sisters Lois and Jody and a brother Joe. She had 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest and daughter Ellen and grandson Wayne. Services will be held at Mountain View, May 25th at 2:00pm.

HI I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AT THIS TIME, I KNEW ESTHER WHILE WORKING AT TACOMA GENERAL AND KEPT IN TOUCH WITH HER OVER THE YEARS, SHE WAS A DELIGHT TO KNOW ,BUT I KNOW THAT WE ALL HAVE TO LEAVE THIS EARTH TO JOIN WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. SOONER OR LATER. MAY THE LORD BE WITH YOU AND ALL YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME.
