Ferne Cox Obituary

Ferne E. Cox Ferne Cox went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2011. She was born in Northville, South Dakota on July 14, 1908. She lived in Puyallup for 67 years. Ferne was preceded in death by her husband Harold of 64 years. She is survived by her three sons, Harris (Elaine), Chuck (Marianne), and Larry (Flores). Ferne has 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, plus many beloved nieces and nephews and extended family. Memorial services will be held at Fir Lane Funeral Home, 924 176th St. E., Spanaway, WA 98387 on April 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Reception following.

Ferne was such a special lady! We enjoyed her positive attitude, smiles and participation during our years at Firgrove Community Baptist Church. We are sorry to miss her Memorial service since Weldon will be having day surgery that day. We rejoice she is with our Lord and look forward to that day of Reunion.
