Florence Lenora Hockett

Florence Hockett Florence Lenora Hockett was born April 12, 1940 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Florence's journey to meet her savior arrived March 26, 2011. Florence took great pride in family and cherished time spent with them. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist, and enjoyed singing in the voices choir. She worked for Dallas day care and Catholic Community Services as a caregiver during her work history until her stroke in 1997. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, thrift shopping, cooking, and most of all spending time with family. She was an extraordinary mother and provider for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by ex-husband Richard Lee Hockett Sr., sons Trent Hockett, Richard Lee Hockett Jr., Norris Hockett, Wallace Hockett, Carl Hockett, daughter Carla Hockett, and numerous grandchildren. She will be remembered with great love and admiration. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1311 South I St., Tacoma, WA 98405, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00.
