FLOYD BACHMAN Obituary

FLOYD BACHMAN Floyd A. Bachman was born 8/3/1924 in Wichita, KS, and died 3/3/2011 in Tacoma, WA. He is survived by his daughter, Juanita Brunzell, and grandson, Bill Hamilton. He is also survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis, and her children Keith (Cyndy), Scott, and Marguerite Prichard; grandchildren Marisa Reis (Anthony) and Tahlia Riley (Travis), and four great grandchildren; and best friend and lap warmer Mystery. Floyd retired from the Rainier Brewery in 1987 where he worked for over 34 years. He was a veteran of WWII and life member of VFW. He was an avid hunter and gun collector, a member of the WA Arms Collectors, and a lifetime member of the NRA. Graveside service at New Tacoma Cemetery Monday, March 7, at 3 PM. Reception to follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 6730 N. 17th, Tacoma.

We only met Floyd a few times, but we found him to be a very warm, friendly and quiet man. He is going to be greatly missed by his friends and family. We send our love and best wishes to them all, especially to Juanita and Bill.
