Dear Prentice Family,
I went to school with Ken. Both Ken and I went into the Navy following school and that is where we lost contact. I followed my fathers footsteps and served aboard Submarines leaving the Navy in 1969. It wasn't till the eighties that I happened to see your mother and she told me what had happened to Ken while in Viet Nam. Although I knew others that were lost over there, Ken's loss has always lingered in my mind. When I was back at the Wall, his name was the first that I looked up. That being said, I wish you all the best during this difficult time and you can rest assured that they are together again.
