GEORGE PALMER Obituary

George Willett Palmer April 10, 1932 ~ March 9, 2011 Born to Edmund and Mary Ellen Palmer in Tacoma, Washington. Moved to Eatonville in 1945. A graduate of Eatonville High School (1950), Highline Community College and Eastern Washington University (1968). He was a school bus driver, a freight truck driver and later went into logging and land development. He was a longtime member of the Ohop Grange, Eatonville Lions, the Masons, Scottish Rite and the Afifi Shrine. Survived by his wife Geneal, daughter Elizabeth Dompier (Chad), son Darin Palmer (Abby) and another son David Palmer (Emily), sisters Margaret Bodenhorn, Lida Clark, Florence Bond (Oliver) and brother Glenn Palmer (Donna), grandchildren Blake and Keegan Dompier, Leon and Eleanore Palmer and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Edmund. Graveside services will be held at the Eatonville Cemetery March 18th at 1:00pm followed by a memorial service at the Eatonville Methodist Church at 2:00pm. The family suggests memorials to the Eatonville Lions Club, Shriners Hospitals, the American Cancer Society, Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, Eatonville Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
