GLENN WILSON Obituary
Glenn R. Wilson Age, 72 of Algona WA. passed away March 5, 2011 after a long battle with COPD. He was a career military man. Retiring from the U.S Army after 20 years as a chief warrant officer. After military life, Glenn and his family settled in Algona where he served the community for over 20 years as first councilman, later becoming mayor. Glenn is survived by sons Tim (Dara); Jeff (Gretchen); daughters Robin (Alan); Cyndie (Dave) and Gayle (Brian). Brother, Clinton (Joanna) Wilson. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife Orla Jean Wilson in 2007. Visitation will be held Thur., March 10, 5-8pm, Funeral Services Fri., March 11, at 11am both will be held at Edline-Yahn & Covington Funeral Chapel 27221 156th Ave. SE Kent, WA. Burial will follow at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. Please sign our online guest book at www.eycfc.com

Just heard about his passing...worked with Glenn in Algona for just over 10 years. I loved that man like a father. I have thought of him many times over the years...he will be greatly missed.

May your family find comfort knowing Glenn is at peace. I have good memories of Glenn and Jean when Jeff was a very little boy at Grandma and Grandpa Salisbury's house. I am a friend of Betty.
