Dearest Jim,
I never met you in this life but I have been touched by all of your beautiful children. It says a lot about a father who has helped raise such loving human beings. They are all so giving, loving examples of the human race. You did a good job Jim. RIP, Nancy Fraser

I also remember Jim from High School. I noticed how friendly and thoughtful he was with people around him. He was a one of a kind. God bless you and we will all see each other again.

A tribute to one of God's saints is the easy part--Jim rests in the arms of the Almighty and as a man of God has entered into his eternal reward. For the family and friends left behind it is more difficult. We have the pleasure of having known and loved Jim; watched him grow in faith; traveled with him during the trials but now we rejoice in his homecomming.
Jim will be missed here but even now his deep laugh is lighting up the faces of heaven.

Growing up with Jim was an honor. He was a solid man who treated people with respect and kindness. In High School Jim was a leader and someone who lead by example. Jim will be missed dearly, and my prayers are with his family. I'll miss you Jimmy.

I knew Jim from high school and renewed our friendship last year. We've shared long phone conversations where he would listen to my concerns, then tell me with utmost honesty exactly what I needed to hear. He told me about his weekly "Dinner with Jim" where he would invite someone to share an elaborate feast (he sent me pictures via cell phone of a few meals). He had the biggest heart and would help anyone who needed him. He told me of his goal to catch a fish in every state (and I think he may have don so). He sent me some of his smoked salmon and it was delicious. He adored his grandson, Shay, who referred to Jim as Bumpa. He lived his life to the fullest and touched the lives of many ... He was a Godly man who loved the Lord and shared scripture with many. Bless your heart, Jim Bain ... and thank you for being my friend ... "You made it good!"
