James Craig Obituary

James Craig Age 75, passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2011. He was born on December 31, 1935 in Yankton, SD to Ray and Bessie Craig. He spent his childhood years in Yankton, and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married his high school sweetheart, Janice Christensen, and they relocated to the Seattle area in 1958 upon his graduation and employment with the Boeing Company. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and his oldest son Jeff. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jan, 3 children, Brad (Jodi), Wade (Gina), and Rachelle (Gene), 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Jim will long be remembered for his humor, generosity, and strength of character. Memorial contributions may be made to Celebration Garden at Grace Lutheran Church, 22975 24th Ave. S., Des Moines, WA 98798, or to BRIDGES: A Center for Grieving Children at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, PO Box 5296, Tacoma, WA 98415.
