I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Jim's passing. I worked with him at Russell and sat just across from him for a couple years. He always had a great attitude and was liked by everyone. He made me laugh on so many occasions. He will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone that called him a friend.

I loved James, and James loved sharing the joy he got from his family. James delighted in the caring nature of his wife, the growth and adventures of his two daughters, and the achievements of his mom and the boss. James--thanks for the memories; you are missed.

I will always remember Jim and all of us playing in my back yard! Playing Soccer, baseball, and staying up late playing in the neighbor hood as well. We always had so much fun. Those use to be the good days. I will never forget those childhood days with Jim, it truly was amazing. I will always remember Jims one line jokes that would make everyone laugh. I am so sadden by him passing on. I will never forget you. My condolences go out to his family at this time.

I am so terribly sorry for your family's loss. I knew Jim from Jr, high and High school, and he was the nicest person. I remember he would always let me cheat off his papers in class. He always had A's..I will remember him fondly. Rest in Peace Jim.

James was one of the first people I met in college. He was my fraternity brother and fellow economics student, but most importantly, I considered him my friend. I am deeply saddened by this loss. I pray our Lord will wrap Wendy and the girls in his His loving arms, and give them His peace and comfort.
I will always remember James' great sense of humor, his unique laugh, and infectious smile. He was one of the most positive and unique men I have ever met. He will be greatly missed.

I remember when I was growing up with Jim. I remember Jim and all our family playing Sardeans, I remember when Jim and my brother Robbie tried to take my dad's truck for a joy ride, and my mom caught them lol. Jim and his sister Jenny always played with us. I am so sadden by his passing, and my condolences go to his family at this time. I always smile when I think of the good times we all got to share as children. I will miss you Jim.

I am greatly saddened to hear of James' passing. I had the opportunity to work with him for a few years and, although he seemed sort of serious on the exterior, once you got to know him you realized what a funny and genuinely nice guy he was. So sorry for your loss.

At Russell, James challenged me and he made me laugh with this unique sense of humor. When I called on him this past January, he answered "happy to help." That phrase is central to the memory I'll keep of James. Sorry for your loss and may you find comfort and peace.

My deepest sorrow and sympathy to you and the girls for your loss. I had the priveledge to work with James for a couple of years at Russell. He had a "how are we going to get this done" approach to everything. He also brought a great amount of levity to the workplace - conversations about the Big Labowski, the Cowboys, practical jokes played on co-workers...he was and will be missed. I had the opportunity to work with James and was impressed with not only his professional abilities but also who he is as a person. He was genuine and fun. I'm so sorry for the loss. My wife and I will keep everyone in our prayers.

I worked with Jim at CUNA. We were both new advisors struggling to build a career and take care of our families. I had a good conversation with Jim at the recent advisor conference in Phoenix. I was struck by Jim's tenacity, upbeat attitude, positive outlook and desire to take care of you and the girls. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
