James Paul Seabeck 1913 - 2011 J.P. Seabeck's Cattle Roundup is Over E.. James Paul Seabeck, 98, longtime resident of Spokane, WA, passed away March 9 at his home. Jim and his wife Novia (deceased 2007) were residents of Tacoma and Lakewood from 1935 to 1959. J.P. was the head buyer and later General Mgr. for the Carstens Meat Packing Co. from 1935 to 1957 and served as a member of the Washington Horse Racing Commission for six years from 1991-1997. James Seabeck leaves one brother, Frank Eugene Seabeck, four daughters, Marlene Tenzler, Tacoma, Kathleen Obschlager, Switzerland, Connie Gable, Hayden, Kristi Koivula, CA, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and wife of 11 months, Mary Leewright Seabeck. The Vigil is March 17, 2011, 5:00 pm, St. Augustine. Funeral Friday, March 18, 10:00 am, St. Augustine Church, 428 W. 19th Ave, Spokane, WA. Memorial donations are exclusively to Boys Town Nebraska (Grand Island, NE), Dave Reed, Program Director, 3230 Wildwood Dr., Grand Island, Neb. 68801.
