JANICE CHANDLER

Janice (Nielsen) Chandler Jan. 1, 1934 - Feb. 23, 2011 Jan passed away in the comfort of her home with her 4 children by her side. She was born in Wilkeson, Washington to Erik and Eleanor Nielsen, grew up in Buckley, and lovingly raised her family in Puyallup. Anyone who knew Jan found her door was always open for coffee and conversation. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob, she is cherished by the children she leaves behind, Terri (Tim), Ellie, Susan (James), and Rob (Diane). Adored by her grandchildren, Kim, Kelli, Brandon (Lindsay), Katie, Kyle, Dane, and Dutch, and two great-grandchildren Oscar and Dian, Jan is also survived by her beloved brother, Erik Nielsen of Geneva, Ohio and many wonderful friends. The greatest joys in her life were being the early bird to a garage sale, a lucky night at the casino, and times spent with her family and good friends. A celebration of Janny's life will be held on Sunday, February 27th, 2011 from Noon to 5:00 at her home in Sumner.
