JIN NESBITT Obituary

Jin Sook (aka Kim) Nesbitt Age 70 died January 30, 2011, with her family by her side in Portland, Oregon. A memorial service was held at Williamette National Cemetery on February 3. She was born October 31, 1940, in Beijing, China to Yung Sin and Choon Sook Che. She immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1950. Her interests included family, photography, computers and hiking. She and her husband, traveled the world, and were admired for dancing the jitterbug. Kim was outgoing and made friends everywhere she went. The Nesbitts lived in Gig Harbor from 1975 to 1983, and returned in 2004 until 2010. Mrs. Nesbitt is survived by her husband, Ray; sisters Anne Douglas, Judy Janowiak, Mare Waters; brothers, Bill Runey, Michael Runey; 3 daughters and their spouses, Gary & Kim Silva, Shane & Kandas Rodarte, John & Joan DePalma; and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick Runey. Donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
