Dear Robin,
It has been so long since the heady days of APA and Simpson and the great value I put on my relationship with Joe.
He was a great guy and an even better friend, and I only wish we had been able to see him more often in the later years.
Condolences and love,
Jim ( and Louise ) Lane

Dear Robin and family,
I knew Joe personally for only a few years when I came to the Forest History Society but always enjoyed our conversations. He was a wonderful supporter of the Society having been a member for 30 years. Extending deep and heartfelt sympathy. He will be remembered.
