JOSEPHINE LARSON Obituary

JOSEPHINE LARSON Josie passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1931 in Troy, Texas to Lee and Mary Bosmans. She married Thomas Larson on November 14, 1959. Over their 51 1/2 years of marriage, they traveled throughout the country with Tom's Air Force career settling in Lynden in 1977. Josie worked at Puget Power until she retired in 1993. Late that year they moved to Puyallup to be close to grandchildren. During retirement, she took up oil painting becoming a wonderful artist. Josie was our angel on earth, lovingly touching the lives of all that had the good fortune of knowing her. We find some solace in knowing our angel is smiling down upon us from heaven and how fitting it was for her to pass through heaven's gates on a Sunday. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom, 4 children; Tammy (Reed) Zulauf of Puyallup, Terri (Sean) Bradley of Anchorage, Alaska, Carl (Erin) Larson of Federal Way, and Bryan Larson of Anchorage, Alaska, her cherished 8 grandchildren; Stefanie and Kellie Zulauf, Jordan and Sean Bradley, Shelby, Kylee, Thomas and Landon Larson, and many more loving family members and friends. A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner at 11am on Monday, April 18 with internment at Tahoma National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 19 at 1:15pm.
