He was born on March 8th, 1982 in Olympia, WA and spent most of his childhood and adult life in the Puyallup-Tacoma area. Judd graduated from Puyallup High School in 2000 and from The Art Institute of Seattle in 2009. He was employed with AT&T Wireless in Seattle. Judd left behind his parents, Chris and Linda Sewell of Olympia, WA, his wife of 6 months, Jessica Hope Armstrong Sewell, grandmother Genevieve McCutcheon, grandparents Bob and Helen Sewell, aunts and uncle Gary and Sue McCutcheon, Debbie Walsh, cousins Ben and Alena Dicke, Matt and Mary Dicke, Vince and Erin Conley, Rich and Kirstin Lillie, Kyle McCutcheon, father- and mother-in-law David and Peggy Armstrong, brother-in-law Erich Armstrong, sister-in-law Chelsey Armstrong, and many other special family members and friends. Judd you were one of my first friends in junior high. You welcomed me in and made a difference in my life during that very pivotal time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for your kindness. You will be missed.

I used to work with Judd at the movie theaters some time ago. I remember him as a fun loving all around great guy. I'm sorry for the passing of such a short life.

We are glad we got to spend Chistmas evening with Judd and Jessica. Still remember exactly where Judd was standing when he said he was ready for dinner. Of course it was JUDD who brought the game for after dinner. We miss you Judd and will never forget how much you loved our niece Jessica.

Judd was my best friend during my late childhood and I'll never forget all the adventures and fun we made for ourselves over the many camping trips and late nights playing legos, video games and comic books. Truly and influential person in my life and though I haven't seen or talked to him in over ten years, I would often wonder what he was up to. I am completely shocked to hear this and will treasure my memories with him the rest of my life. His family will certainly be in our prayers.

I have met few people in my life that were as open, kind, and had such a friendly and infectious charisma as 'Juddly'. He was his own person and an instant friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him personally. His life was a gift to all fortunate enough to share it with him.

I am glad to of had the pleasure of working with Judd. He was always willing to listen and give advice. If he had no advice, he'd just laugh. He was proud of his work and he loved to teach us all about it. He loved to talk about his house full of animals and his new wife. It is sad that he is gone, but I am grateful I knew him.

Judd would have to be one of the most amazing people I have ever met. It leaves me in such disbelief to know that I can no longer be able to share life's littlest moments with him. Judd and I work together but we were more than coworkers, we were friends. My thoughts goes out to Jessica and his family. He has left an impression on me, and I will never be the same.

Judd was a terrific guy and i'm so saddened by his passing. He had a great sense of humor and was always a rock when I needed to talk and get his advice. We lost track of eachother after high school but your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I probably knew Jessica and Judd the least amount of time, and still his passing affected me. I met Jessica and Judd in the ER and later saw them in the ICU. There were so many people you didn't even personally know who were pulling for Judd. I was beside myself when I learned of Judd's passing. My heart goes out to Jessica, as a wife and to Judd's parents, as a parent myself. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you are going through. I wish there was something that could ease your pain, but I know at this point there isn't. My condolences...

To the Sewell family,
My thoughts are with everyone that Judd touched. It has been years since I have seen or spoke with him, but hearing of his passing was heartbreaking. I have very fond memories from high school with him. I know that he is smiling in heaven looking down and watching over his family.

Jessica, Sewell, and Armstrong families, my thoughts are with you. Judd was one of the most genuinely nice, caring and entertaining people I have ever had the pleasure of calling a friend. He brought happiness to everyone around him, every day and I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that he touched many, many people.
