Obituary Condolences

Kyle Anthony Polychronis Our loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandson went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2004, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Kyle was born July 20, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kyle graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Utah, with a B.S. in Computer Science in 1979. He earned an M.S. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley in 1980. He then worked at Bell Laboratories, Whippany, NJ for the next three years. Afterwards, he worked for Hewlett Packard, Cupertino, CA as a Computer Programmer and a Project Manager until taking a medical retirement in may, 1966. Kyle was residing with his wife and their two daughters in University Place, WA. Kyle is survived by his wife Kristie Coomber Polychronis and his two darling daughters Mary Elizabeth and Rachel Linn, parents Thomas and Charlene Polychronis, sister Karen Curtin, brother Thomas Kelly Polychronis, nephew Thomas Curtin, neice Carrie Curtin and grandmother Melva Kouris. Kyle was a loving and tenderhearted man. His girls were the light of his life. He handled his long battle with Multiple Sclerosis with grace. We will miss him every day, but will see him again one day with the Lord. A viewing will be held at Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home 5436 S. Puget Sound, Friday 2/20 6 pm to 8 pm with Trisagion prayer service 7 pm. Funeral service will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 1423 South Yakima Street, Tacoma, WA, 1 pm, Sat. 2/21/04. Interment at Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Christian School & Academy: Mary & Rachel Polychronis fund. 1717 South Union Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405
