Leo Borgert Obituary

Leo Marcus Borgert Leo M. Borgert passed away Friday, May 6th, 2011. He was 84. Leo, known to many as BUD, spent the last three years of his life living in Birch Bay with his daughter and son-in-law. Bud led a full and rich life. He loved a good joke or a bad one. He enjoyed reading, good food, friends, but most of all he loved to dance and now he dances with the angels. Leo had many friends and a large family whom he adored. His memory, the stories, and the laughter will live on in all our lives. Leo is survived by his brother William Borgert, daughter Gretchen Snyder, son David Borgert, granddaughters Keri and Brynn, and the apple of his eye, great-granddaughter Sophia. A graveside interment service will be on Friday, May 20th, 2011 at 2pm at Haven of Rest. Social will follow. Goodnight Dad, I love you.

Uncle Bud, I miss you already.

Uncle Bud was also my godfather. One of my favorite memories of him is of him singing. When I was younger we would gather at the piano and sing every song and all the verses in about 4 or 5 songbooks. Those were good times!
