Leon Clarke Obituary

Leon Edward Clarke 4/9/1940 - 5/23/2011 Cashed in his chips at 2:30 am on May 22nd after a 6 month battle with congestive heart failure. He was born in Elizabeth, Pa. on April 9, 1940. He was an Army Veteran and spent 4 years in Germany where he met and married his wife of 49 years. He retired from the Postal Service in 2006. In his retirement he enjoyed going to the casino, watching football and baseball, and having his beloved cat Beau around. He leaves behind his wife Doris, 3 daughters: Tammy and husband Rich Guerra, stationed with the Navy in Naples, Italy, Shawna and husband Greg Lamothe in Lake Oswego, Or., Michelle and husband Warren Hubble in Puyallup, two grandsons, Miles Hubble and Ethan Guerra, and his sister Charlene Thomas and family in Puyallup and extended family in Germany and Pennsylvania. Per his explicit wishes there will be no formal service.
