My dear Aunt Lois was such an inspiration to me. I cannot remember a time where she was not offering a word of praise, a room filled with laughter, or a gleam from eyes that sparkled with mischief or joy. You were a great inspiration to me and I will try to follow in your foot steps as I take on the challenges that age has to offer. Godspeed, Great Aunt. I shall fly away to meet you, Dad, Uncle Lee and the Grandmother I never met as soon as the Lord allows.
Our love to the family,

Here is Gratitude for Lois's "kitchen table wisdom" that helped a friend through a rough patch.
A life well lived: an amazing seamstress sewing projects for the hospital guild, a pool exercise buddy, and a fellow book lover.
Your spark and wisdom are missed here. My thoughts are with Melinda and the rest of Lois's family.
Love,

is this the Lois Walsh that taught first grade at Paradise School in Las Vegas...probably in the 70's?
If so, i remember her well. i was the librarian at the school. all of us (teachers) have fond memories of Lois...and still bake her prize cake recipe...Sock It to Me Cake! ironically, i had planned to make it today!
