MARGARET DROBNACK Obituary

Margaret Mary Drobnack Surrounded by loved ones, Margaret's journey on earth ended January 24, 2011 when she left us to join her Heavenly Father. She was born January 1, 1921 in Tacoma, Washington, where she spent most of her life. In addition to caring for her family, she worked full time as a telephone operator for Pacific Northwest Bell. Margaret was always well known for her charisma and undeniable zest for life. Some of her joys included family trips to the ocean, skiing, gardening, luncheons with friends, camping and golfing. During the past 21 years, she enjoyed living in the country near Graham in a home she and her husband built and cared for. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, of 58 years. Margaret is survived by her children, Diane, Marc, and Donna, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial for Margaret will be held at All Saints Parish in Puyallup on Friday, February 4th, at 11:00am. Donations in remembrance of Margaret Drobnack may be made to the American Heart Association.

Margaret was indeed a lady as well as a feisty, fun-loving woman. It was my pleasure to have known her for 50 years and to have had the pleasure of celebrating my 70th birthday with her. She will be forever in my memory.
