Mark Adams Obituary

Mark Robert Adams Age 60, passed away during the early morning hours of Saturday, April 9, 2011. Mark was born in Spokane, Washington on February 22, 1951, the second of three children born to Frank and Neshma ('Nicki') Adams. Mark graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA degree in 1973, got his MBA in Management in 1980, achieved his BS in Accounting in 1986, served in the United States Army and Army Reserves achieving Lieutenant Colonel rank, and for the past 23 years worked at Peter Pan Seafood in Seattle. Mark treasured his family, God, and country. He enjoyed running, hiking, listening to books and classical music on CD, acquiring Saint George collectibles, and spending time with his family. The funeral service for Mr. Adams was held on Friday, April 15th at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lakewood, Washington. Mark was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood on the same day with military honors. Mark Adams is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy Adams; their two children, Michael and Amanda; their spouses, Erin and Marek; his grandson, Frank David; mother, Nicki; younger sister, Dena; and will be missed by many family members and close friends. The family requests that all donations be made out to the Western and Central Alzheimer's Association of Washington or St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lakewood, Washington.
