Dear Linda,
I am so sorry to hear about Mike's death from cancer. I have been thinking about you a lot over the last 6 months, and did send you an email at your work email address, but obviously I never got a response. I wish I had followed my gut feelings and given you a call.
Right now, I want you to know that my prayers are with you and your family. I will give you a call in 6 weeks or so and check in to see if you are ready to get together so I can give you a big, big hug.
God be with you as you struggle with all the decisions ahead of you.

Dear Linda, Joe and Julie,
Please know how much I am thinking about you all and sending prayers, very sorry I could not make it out with mom.
The Barlow's and Mike were a big part of my childhood so I have lots of great memories (even oyster pie!). then always had enjoyed those times when I could see you all when I had chances to return to Wa St.
Pray you some how have a good service, a happy ending(if you believe in endings at all?) and can press on

Dear Linda
Mike was the brother I never had. He was a man like no other I have ever met. He was one of the finest men with intergerty and a great sense of humor, it was a priviledge to work for him and to have him as my friend.
