Michael Maas Obituary

Michael Lynn Maas Michael Lynn Maas, 65, was born in Tacoma, WA on June 8, 1945. He passed away in the University of Washington Hospital on March 24, 2011, after a year-long battle with a rare lung disease. His survivors are his wife Cindy Maas of Buckley, son David M. Maas and his wife Malissa of Bonney Lake, daughter Tia Ball and her husband Larry, and 4 precious granddaughters, Mackenzie Mae, triplets Vanessa Lynn, Sierra Jane, and Issabella Rose, all of Sumner. He's also survived by one sister and five brothers. Throughout his life, Mike was always active with many hobbies. In his younger days Mike enjoyed coaching youth baseball, playing men's baseball, and was always around to help others. He loved gathering with his family and friends, clam digging and his two classic cars. Remembrances may be made to the Buckley Aid Unit or you favorite charity. Services will be at the Sumner Presbyterian Church, 1915 Washington St., on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.
