I knew Myrtle like a family member since the earliest time that I can remember. We phoned and visited over the years. She was my mother's closest friend. I will always remember her with love and the deepest appreciation for her smiles and encouragement. I especially adored the dress that she made me when I was four years old! I will miss her. Love to Steve and Christine.

Oh how good memories of time at Henderson Beach with the whole Torgesen family flood back to my mind on this sad day. I hope that Steve and Christine take comfort in knowing that they had the most wonderful mother that will be remembered and missed by many.
Sincerely, John Nicholson

Aunt Myrtle brought our family so many happy memories. I always loved spending time with her at her house on the beach and at the cabin on Fox Island. It was always a hoot when Grandma Hazel and Aunt Myrtle were together. I will miss you very much Aunt Myrtle.
