My father (Norm) spoke of you often and with so much love through the years; I remember him telling me about your upcoming wedding to Nick, and how wonderful a young man he thought that he was. Jon and I were so sad to hear about Nick. We both enjoyed growing up with him out on the Key Peninsula. Later I enjoyed getting updates from Cheryl at the News Tribune about his family and adventures. We know he was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

The world is less of a place for having lost such a beautiful soul. I only met him briefly during his brief stay at Tacoma General but Nick, Suzie, Lindsey, and Luke touched my heart. I will forever be thankful for the opportunity given to me to care for Nick and to meet his family. My prayers are with you.
