Patricia Smith Obituary

Patricia A. Smith (Tillman) Our Angel Patty returned to her Heavenly Father on April 26, 2011 surrounded by the love of her family. Born February 28, 1958 in Berwyn, Illinois to Darwin and Mary Tillman, Patty grew up in Ojai, California and moved to Puyallup, Washington with her family when she was 11 years old. She married James (Buzz) Smith in 1977 and had 3 children whom she loved with all her heart. Patty had many talents and passions, including cooking, gardening, sewing, celebrating holidays, fishing, camping, and God. Most important to her was her work at home raising her children and later on having grandbabies. She was the strongest, most kindhearted, patient and loving person, who would sacrifice anything for her children. Patty is survived by her children Brian (Shelby), Kelly (Greg), and Heidi (Justin), grandchildren, Hallee, Wyatt, Hunter, Haydin, Cooper and Brooklin, parents Darwin and Mary Tillman, siblings Debbie, Linda, John, Paul, and best friend and sister Anne (Chris), and many more friends and relatives. Until we meet again, Mommy, we miss and love you so much. Special thanks to Dr. Arthur Knodel, Dr. Waldo Dagan and staff, and ICU nurse Layne. A celebration of her life will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 509 3rd St. SW, Puyallup, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00. Reception to follow.

My deepest sympathy to Patty's children, grandchildren and family. I went to school with Patty from six grade to graduation. We would see each other at the grocery store and would chat on as though no time had gone by. Patty was a wonderful person who will be missed by all who knew her.
