Pearl Jacques Obituary

Pearl Lucille (Holmquist) Jacques Pearl passed away peacefully on April 5, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born on July 2, 1924. She was one of eleven children. Pearl was a '42 grad of Lincoln High School and was an active reunion organizer. She was known for her ever present camera and documentation of family and events. Pearl married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Jacques, whom she adored for 67 years. She was an active member of the Retired Firefighters, Gig Harbor Elks and Eagles, and enjoyed family gatherings, travel and RVing. Pearl is survived by her husband Jerry, a retired Tacoma firefighter, and children Linda Wickstrom, Ron and wife Ruth, Rod and wife Leslie, 8 grand-, 17 great-grand-, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and eight siblings. Pearl and Jerry resided in Tacoma for many years and later spent their golden years in Olalla. Please join us to celebrate Pearl's life on Sat., April 23rd, 2011 at 2:00 PM - Tacoma Firefighters Hall, 1109 S. 50th St, Tacoma, WA.
