Phyllis Carol Farley Phyllis Farley, 64, passed away Dec. 10, 2004 at her home in Tacoma, WA. She was born in Gilchrist, Illinois and has lived in the Tacoma area most of her life. She belonged to the Woman's Auxiliary Club for the VFW. Loving being around people, she was a waitress most of her working career. Her keen since of humor and love of life has been passed on to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Farley, of 30 years. She is survived by her children, Debra Brown, Diana Pebley, Janice Post, Cara Wermuth and Brian Percy, along with 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by stepdaughter Dana Bridges and stepson Duffy Farley. Memorial services to celebrate Phyllis's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004 at Piper- Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home, 472-3353. Immediately following will be a celebration of her life at the VFW on McKinley Ave., Tacoma.
