Raymond Blakeslee Obituary

Raymond John Blakeslee Ray was born 10/1/28 in Tacoma and went to be with the Lord on 4/20/11. He leaves behind Corinne, his loving wife of 62 years, their eight children, Becky, Ginny, Kathy, Mark, Jim, Claudia, Joe and Michael and many in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ray served his community through the Rialto Garage, Blakeslee Oil Service and Heritage Heating. His life was dedicated to Christ, his family and his community. Thank you to all who honored Ray with their love and caring. Funeral services will be held April 23, 1 PM at Puyallup Community Baptist Church, 1318 9th Ave SW, Puyallup.

my father passed away when i was 15, ray was there every sunday with the hug that i was so in need of, he also helped my family with a tank of oil for the winter ahead. i will always remember him standing at the pulpit on sundays for song service, he always had the right songs for pastor ole's sermon andalso had it not been for ray picking up my future husband ken sanford up for church each week he may never have come to know jesus as his personal lord and savior,thankyou ray for your dedication to the word! we will always remember you for the blessings you shared . god is great!!!! merrijane and ken sanford

I worked for Ray at the Rialto Garage in 1966 and 1967 parking cars in the basement.
He gave me my first job which helped pay for some of my college education.
He was a great boss and a roll model for me all during my life.
I will always remember him!
