Richard A. Bergren Richard passed away on September 2, 2012 at his University Place home. He was born March 9, 1942 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and retired in 2008 from the Atlas Foundry after 43 years. Richard enjoyed fishing and sports, especially watching golf on television. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Carolyn, sons Frank (Tamie) and Lance, sister Sue Lauer (Jim), brother Thello Green (Darlene), eight grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimmy Sue. A celebration of his life will be held at New Tacoma Cemetery's Chambers Creek Chapel at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 6.
