We've known Bob since he worked for DSHS reception desk back in the 70's. He always had a smile on his face and was always very helpful with the clients. We will miss him.

Bob and I met at Peninsula High School in the early 50s and spent many hours driving around the Gig Harbor and Tacoma areas at that time. After I retired, we found that we still shared similar interests and frequently attended various functions together. Bob was a genuine people person and had many friends as well as being a helping hand to various charities. It was my privilege to have such a good friend as Bob.

The man known to me by his nickname "big bob" because of his tremendously large heart and goodnature, will be sorely missed. Met Bob first with the Western State Hospital bowling league out at bowlero lanes many many years ago. We continued our friendship with visits to the old Longacres racetrack (Renton) and more recently with Emerald Downs (Auburn) as well as State bowling tournaments and trips to the Tacoma Raniers. Bob had a great sense of humor, and could laugh with the best them. I am sure Bob was glad to hear "they still have bottled milk in heaven."
