From ashes to ashes and dust to dust,
I would give the shirt off my back,
For someone not to fuss,
I never meant for your eyes to tear,
I only tried to enjoy our years,
my life was filled with journey after journey,
but no longer my brothers am I hurting,
I ask of you please not to cry,
because if I was here I’d hold your head high,
my heart is at peace,
this islander soul at rest,
surrounded by your love truly made me blessed,
so silence your sobs wipe your tears with no sounds,
keep your chins parallel to the ground
if you ever feel as if you are about to fall,
call out my name for a moose call,
and I shall be by your side my friends
until the day our paths meet again.
Aloha

Papa Bear...You will be miss so very much. I am thankful that we had you in our lives. I know you and dad are sitting at the table, having coffee, and talking about all that has changed since his passing. our thoughts and prayers are with all your family and extended family. May the good lord help you through this difficult time.

Rod you are one of my big brothers, you left the family years ago I never understood why, but I never stopped thinking of you or loving you. I had tried to find you but no one would ever give me answers. The family will never know why you left but we will always love you. You are now with Mom, Dad, our brother Bill and our sister Sheila. One day I will see you again and then you can explain the answers to me until I then I love you my big brother
