Don't know if Rosemary or anyone else in the family will see this, but I worked with Ron at North Charleston Fire Department at our Reynolds Ave. Station #2. He was a GREAT guy, a GREAT firefighter, and was well liked and respected by all. He was such a laid-back person, and was NEVER in a hurry to go anywhere or do anything, that we gave him the nickname of "Pokey". I found out he passed shortly after as our Captain, John Teddy Smith passed the information on to several of the guys that worked with him. He will remembered always! I am telling stories of our time together at Station #2, and found this page while I was trying to remember Ron's age when we were all stationed together. Love to the family!!!! Tony Varella

Rosemary, I just found out about Ron's passing and it saddens my heart. You guys made a beautiful couple. I will always remember my years in the 31st AES with you and Ron. You were both the kindest, caring and hard-working people I've ever met. We will miss Ron, but rest assured...he is in heaven now and will be with you forever in spirit. Continue your life just as he would have wanted you to do. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless...

My deepest sympathy goes out to Ron & his family in their loss. I didn't know Ron much after I moved from Spanaway in 7th grade, I did have Ron in my 5th & 6th grade class & remember him being so caring & fun! I was shocked to hear the news of Ron's passing! He will greatly be missed by many.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hall family for your tremendous loss. Ronnie and I shared the same class in high school and graduated together. We sat across the room from one another in Ms. McDonald’s class. We may have just been classmates back then not knowing that later down the road we’d become a family when my little sister, Leilani, married Ronnie’s younger brother, Anthony. We are so grateful that we got to spend time with Ronnie and his family when they came to Washington back in October. We grieve beside you as a family and share your loss of a loved one. As you look ahead at the uphill road that you must travel, know that God will be right beside you as you walk through this very difficult journey. We wish you God’s strength today and for the days ahead.

Ron was in my fourth grade class during my first year of teaching. This was a great group of kids and a great way to begin my career! Ron was always "the perfect gentleman!"
Thanks to classmates.com, I was able to make a connection with Ron a few years ago. He appeared to be quite happy with his life's journey, for which I was glad.
At this time I share in the great sorrow at the news of his unexpected passing. May you hold dear the many special memories that you have of Ron for these will help to ease the pain of your loss.
May God bless and comfort you all,

To Rosemary, Emily and Sarah......even though we moved a few miles away last year, your family is still one of the most memorable things about the old neighborhood. You guys truly epitomize what "friends and neighbors" are all about. We are so saddened about Rons passing. We love you all......God Bless you Ron.... we will miss you. We have lost a true hero. Your family will be in our prayers.

I send my heartfelt love and condolences to the entire Hall family. I graduated with Ron, and we even made our Communion together back in the early 70s.
We last saw each other at a gathering of some of class mates when he was home for a visit... I am truly saddened...
May you all have the strength to get through this most difficult time.
