Sally Carpenter Obituary

SALLY IRENE (EAGY) CARPENTER Sally Irene (Eagy) Carpenter of Federal Way passed away peacefully on April 20, 2011. Born March 19, 1933 to Grant and Ruby Eagy, Sally is survived by daughters Judy Mellinger Dougherty (Mike) and Molly Mellinger Charbonneau of Federal Way, grandchildren Luke Ankenman of Spokane and Emily and Jonathan Charbonneau of Federal Way, great-grandchildren Dylan, Makenzie and Logan Ankenman of Spokane, and niece Lisa Carter Greer of Spokane. Sally was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Ken Carpenter, in 1981, first husband Ron Mellinger in 1985, her only sister, Yvonne Lee Eagy Edmunds, in January of this year, and her beloved brother-in-law Alan C. Edmunds in October of 2010. Memorial service will be held on April 30, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188. Memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.

My deepest sympathies to Judy and Molly and their families. Sally and her sister Yvonne are now gone from our sight, not from our hearts. Mere words cannot help enough at times like this, but I hope you know that your mother was loved by many, and memories of her last forever. I too shall miss her.
