My heart goes to you, Kathleen, Bill, and to the rest of your family. I only met your Mom once, but she raised a most talented, creative, funny, loyal, and caring daughter who became my sister Pam's dear friend/sister-in-Christ. It's so, so hard to lose a parent. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. You and your family are truly in my prayers tonight and for many, more. Take care.

Kathleen, I felt so honored to have known your mother since our college days. She was very kind. When I think of the crocheted baby blanket she made for our daughter, I remember her hands. She had trouble with them, but continued to make lovely things for others. It's been a long time since she's been able to be home on earth, but now she is free to be home with our Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray for you and Bill, and for the rest of your family.

My sincere condolences to Kathleen, Cheri, and their families. Laura and Jerry were my other mom and dad. The fondest memories of my formative years are the times I spent with the Shearers. I love you all very much. Laura's legacy and gift to me is her gentle witness of her own personal relationship with Jesus.

Laura's witness of salvation through her personal ralationship wih Jesus is her legacy and gift to me. You all showed me the power of my own personal relationship with God, the Creator, Jesus (Emmanuel) the Savior, and His Spirit who dwells in my soul.
