Teresa Ingalsbe Obituary

Teresa L. (Brown) Ingalsbe Teresa L. (Brown) Ingalsbe, beloved wife, mother, and friend, went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ May 22nd after battling cancer. She was born December 3rd, 1953 in Salem, Oregon, and is survived by husband Roger E. Ingalsbe, children Timothy D. Ingalsbe and Angela M. Ingalsbe, a sister, Nickola Blanford (Bill), and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were mother Evelyn G. (Griffith) Brown and father Donald H. Brown. Terry had a passion for Bible study and led and mentored groups of younger women. Her strong faith and sense of humor blessed all those she poured herself out for. She will be remembered as a loving second mom to many, and for her love of animals and endless creativity with her hands as a pianist, seamstress, and machine embroiderer. She made her own clothes and outfitted infants of friends and relatives with special creations. Donations may be made to Care Net of Puget Sound, Puyallup Center. Memorial service to be held Friday, June 3rd, 2011, at 2pm, at Puyallup Foursquare Church.

Though I never met Terry in person, I had several nice conversations with her by computer when doing genealogy research. Our interests were very similar as I am a music (piano) teacher and also embroider and make one of a kind children's clothing. So sorry for your loss.

Terry,
Thank you for being a second mom to me. I will always remember and treasure the times we had together when I would sit with you and you would talk to me about life, and we would laugh about silly things! You took me under your wing and loved on me like your own daughter. You are so special to me and so many others and I will always smile when I remember you. I am so glad you are in heaven with Jesus now and you feel completely wonderful, I'm sure. Love you, and I love your sweet, sweet family too. Until we meet again, and I know we will...Love you so much.

Dear Terry, from our early teen years spent riding our horses over those sand hills of Richland, to our "mature" adult years scouring the doll and teddy bear shows for treasure; I have many happy memories of you dear friend--and they will stay with me forever. Love, Jayne

Dearest Teresa,

I am so sad to know that you have left us here on earth. Knowing that you are now with the "great cloud of witnesses in heaven watching over me and others, cheering us on to be God women and men is such a great comfort. My heart wishes for one more visit with you when I come to Puyallup to visit family. Only the Lord knows how your heart ached over souls to come to him your Lord and Savior. Keep cheering us on dear friend. See you one day and then we can really have the God talk we loved so much. Lovingly in Him, Sheila Congdon, Ft. Worth, Tx

I was stunned to see that my beloved friend is gone. I had lost touch with her when we moved to GA. We had so many times of tears, joy and laughter in the Woman's Bible Class at Rainer Christian Church back in the early 2000's. It was always like her to help in anyway she could. Even though she is gone from here on earth, she left a legacy behind for us to follow. The Lord wanted her to help prepare a place for us and I can hear her say, 'here I am Lord, send me."

I had the great pleasure of working with this marvelous woman, and her courage in the face of pain was beyond description. Her epic journey to Ireland with her husband and daughter was made against. great odds. The loving support of her husband and her childrenr, along with her great faith insured a great memory for her family. I have had few patients,if any, that with her condition, could have made that journey. From one Irish woman to another, Dear Terry, Godspeed to you on your new unchartered journey! I will most remember Terry as the sweet woman who was such a wonderful wife to my brother. She blessed him and our whole family. Looking forward to fellowship with her in Heaven, where we won't be separated by so many miles.

This is a beautiful tribute and very accurate description of Terry! She was my second mom who took me under her wing about 7 years ago. We talked about bible studies, dogs, sewing, babies, etc. etc.. She was such an amazing sewer. My baby boy who is now 1 year old has 2 special blankies made by Terry and out of the MANY blankets he has, he uses her two daily. She was and is such an inspiriation to me and I am sad she is not on this earth anymore but SO SO happy she is in Heaven now with a healthy, new body!!!!! ~Rachelle Betow

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Teresa, I had the opportunity to be your neighbor in the late 80's on South Hill Puyallup. I remember her as a wonderful and caring person and the bible she gave me for my high school graduation. Judi (Young) Hayes
