Sheri and family,
I can't tell you how shocked we were to find out about your loss. You have been through so many memories as a family and now you will have them to hold on to. We are in Yuma until April and I don't have your address, but please know that our hearts and prayers are with you during this time and in the days ahead.

May you find comfort in your fondest memories and good times you shared with Bill as I have.my heart is heavy at the loss of a true friend. It will never be the same without him around here at work.someone once wrote "you come into this world crying surrounded by people laughing.when I leave this world I will be laughing surrounded by people crying." Bill accomplished this and so much more.what greater reward is there?

I will always remember Bill sitting in his *blue chair watching NCIS or Battlestar Galactica, arguing over what was better: PC or Mac (I still say Mac :), and his bright-eyed, scrunched nose, wide smiled giggle. I was blessed to be one of his surrogate daughters, and have so many fun memories, like my very first trip to the pumpkin patch... as a 29 year old grown woman. Or how he rescued all of my music. Or me constantly trying to push more ethic foods on him, and his never-ending refusal to eat anything outside of his main staples... until I tricked him and fed him fancy grilled cheese w/ smoked gouda. :) I love you and will miss you! xoxo

I will always remember Bill sitting in his green chair watching NCIS or Battlestar Galactica, arguing with me over which is better: PC or Mac, and his bright-eyed, scrunched-nose, wide-grinned giggle. I feel blessed to have been his added daughter, and will cherish every moment. Thank you for all of the fun memories like my first trip to the pumpkin patch. I love you and will miss you greatly! xoxo

I met the Warr family some 14 years ago when I moved in as a newly wed two houses down. I quickly came to know and love Sheri and her two girls, Jacci and Jena, and was pulled into their loving circle like a long lost family member. I watched the girls grow up as they flitted and fluttered about like butterflies...and there was always Bill. He was usually nearby, watching all the activity and sometimes drama unfold about him as he sat in the corner by his computer, unobtrusive, almost always with this particularly amused little smile. He was not one for fluttering, but I could see how he was the perch that those butterflies always came back to alight on.
Only a few months ago I was lucky enough to stay with Bill and Sheri for a few nights with my two children. We arrived at their house very late at night and were locked out of the house; when Sheri threw rocks at the window to wake up Bill he emerged at the front door with his little grin, not at all vexed to have been woken up. His smile said, "Sheri, I know you so well, you make me smile with all of your quirks and I love you for them". My 13-year-old son Liam did not remember Bill from when he was a little child, but in those two days he was completely drawn to him and something about his soul. When we left he was so cheerful about leaving the house at 3:30 am to take us to the airport, and my last memory is of his hug and happy wave as he drove off.
God bless you, Bill. You will be greatly missed.

Many good things come to mind from working with Bill over all the years. One that really stands out was Bill's love and devotion for his family and how proudly he displayed his family photos.I've always appreciated Bill's willingness to help out with any issue and I have lost count of how many times Bill was there with a solution.I'm not alone when I say Bill has already been very much missed but I know he is up there somewhere watching the chillers

I only had the opportunity to meet Bill a few times, most recently about a week ago. I did not know him well but I did know what he was capable of. His knowledge of computing and networking systems was amazing. He will be greatly missed here at Boeing. My thoughts and prayers are with Bills friends and family.

Goodbye Bill, I miss your smile, your smart alecky wit, your font of knowledge, but especially you. No one gets to live forever, but you gave the effort of at least 5 people, so it seems a bit unfair that you only got one.

Bill was a good man to work with at Boeing. His knowledge, humor and smiles will be missed. Take care in knowing that there is a Special Angel in Heaven watching over his family and friends. He sends his love...

It’s Sunday night and I’m logging into work just to get a heads start on Monday.
Every Sunday for the last 5 years when I log in I am welcomed with an IM from my friend Bill. First comes the smiley face, then the “What’s up?” Our conversations always end with “log off! and “I’ll talk to you in the morning”. Tonight I know that IM won’t pop up but I’m wishing for one more conversation.
Bill is my friend. We accepted each other warts and all. I could tell him anything never worrying that I’d hear it repeated by someone else the next day. We taught and learned from each other, we shared our family lives, our dreams for the day when we didn’t have to work so hard, and our appreciation for a special friendship that doesn’t come along very often. Bill is a man dedicated to his family, always expressing his deep love for Sheri and the girls. Bill is a man dedicated to The Boeing Company, whatever was needed to get the job done, Bill would find a way.
Tonight I cry knowing I’ll have to live the rest of my days without my friend.
I take comfort knowing someday I’ll see him again on the other side.
Rest easy Bill, and thank you for making my life sweeter by being my friend.

“Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”

God tells us that those who mourn, will be comforted. You are not alone in this; the Lord is with you & He knows exactly how you are feeling and exactly what you need. May you find great comfort in His presence and in His amazing grace. He will not forsake you. I also pray that your memories will bring you great strength as you face the days ahead. Love you much.

Uncle Bill was the nicest, sweetest, generous man I knew. I loved his smile and hugs. I can remember coming home from where us girls were and staying a wake until Uncle Bill woke up to get ready for work so we could hang out with him in the morning. Those were special times and I am so happy I have them. I love and miss you so much already Uncle Bill. I will never forget your smile, laugh or how you LOVED spice cake with milk!

I love LOVE you Daddy! Your smile and laugh are already missed. I wish I could see one more good gut giggle-they were too contagious! You would be so AMAZED at how many people love you so much. And a proud member of our huge family-they are taking good care of us...they are just what you would have asked for & we didn't even have to ask! They just rallied...like true Battle Birds due. They are <3! God is Good Daddy...he will provide for us and is already taking care of us by taking care of you. Until we meet again...
