Sr. Kathleen was a very special friend of my family when she taught at Our Lady's School in San Diego, CA. She was my 6th Grade teacher and I have the most wonderful memories of her. The fondest memory was making "cherries" for our cherry tree both at our annual Church bazaar (which coincidently is this weekend). Sr. always had the nicest prizes that we would get through blue stamps! She was always so full of life and always had a beautiful smile. I also remember helping her in her classroom and helping her clean the convent! I would also accompany her to visit shut-ins. She was such a joy, and I was so happy to have her in my life. She would come to our house for dinner where my mother would cook her favorite Mexican dish-- cheese enchiladas! There was nothing else she enjoyed more. Her visits were always filled with stories and laughter! I remember when she learned to drive and how so important it was for her to do so. I'll never forget how sad she was when she left our parish and San Diego, but she told us that she took a vow of obedience and that she had to go where she was needed. She could never get too comfortable in any one place and she had to go wherever the Lord needed her most. Of course, we were all very sad when Sr. Kathleen left San Diego, but we were happy to stay in constant communication with her. She will always remain in our thoughts, prayers and hearts. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful heart and soul--a Saint. And now, she is in the Lord's loving arms along with brothers and parents who she always talked about and loved so much. May you rest in eternal peace, Sr. Kathleen. WE love you.

Gene and I would like to express our heartfelt prayers for Sister Kathleen Anne. After Sister Tony passed away last year she was our contact person for any information regarding all of the Sisters @ St. Anne's Convent. She was always so vital and cheerful even when in terrible pain with her knees. She was so in love with the Lord's workings that I am happy for her to be with him at this time but sad for us that are left behind. Yours in Christ, Vi & Gene Fermo
