Ellen Staley Ellen (Littlefield) Staley, 87, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Heartwood Extended Care in Tacoma, Washington. She was born January 14, 1927 in Jonesville, Michigan to George and Martha Littlefield, and was married September 25, 1948 at Hillsdale, Michigan to Ward W. Staley, Jr. She was a member of the Faith and the Tacoma chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star, an active volunteer with the Order of Rainbow for Girls, the Girl Scouts, the Special Olympics in Washington, and at Greenwood Elementary School at JBLM. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, her sister Georgia Clark, and by her parents. Survivors include her sisters, Mabel Swager and family and Velma Clark and family, brother-in-law Thomas Clark and family, daughters Linda Sharon Staley and Leilani Sue Staley, son Ward Staley III and his wife Cindy, grandsons Timothy Totten and Guy Staley, and great-grandson Tucker. Services will be held at the Chambers Creek Chapel at New Tacoma Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2014, with interment in the cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the
