Stephanie R. Budinich Stephanie Rose Budinich passed away on July 23, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. She was born to George and Mildred Dragich on July 12, 1920 in Bear Creek, MT. Stephanie married William Paul Budinich on June 26, 1946. Her husband, Bill, preceded her in death in 1955. She is survived by daughter Karen Otis (Roland) of Gig Harbor; son Bill (Sharon) Budinich of Gig Harbor; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Katy Swanson, Helen Jakubik and Vera Piencinsky all of Longview, WA; several cousins, nieces, nephews and her best friend, Winnie Bartlett. Stephanie, also known as Staffie to close friends and family, worked several years at Boeing and retired from Buffelin Woodworking. All who knew her admired her for her strong work ethic, bountiful vegetable garden, manicured lawn and unique ability of making the "best ever" dishes from scratch. She faithfully attended Holy Cross in Tacoma. We take comfort knowing she is with all her loved ones who preceded her. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 5510 N. 44th St., Tacoma, WA 98407. She will be put to rest alongside her husband at Calvary Cemetery.
