Pauline S. Lewis Born February 3, 1925 in Yukon, OK, went to be with her Lord on August 4, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paschal and Ruth Smith, her husband Arthur R. Lewis, and son-in-law George Moore. She is survived by her sister Georgia Keller of Grand Rapids, MI, her children Victoria Moore, David (Ann), Patric (Karrin), Marta Englund (Steven), and Andrea Brazile (Kenneth), fifteen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Pauline left a legacy of grace, family, and love. She came to Washington in 1929 and graduated from Stadium High School in 1943. Pauline was a foster parent to 47 babies. She was awarded WA State PTA Golden Acorn, and was a member of NAGOPS and garden club, Beatrix Potter Society of England, and the Historical Society of the Tonowandas, NY. She was librarian for University Place Elementary from 1966 until retiring in 1982. Pauline was a member of First Christian Church, Tacoma, for 77 years. She served as a deaconess and Supt. of nursery and Sunday school. She sang in the choir and served on various committees. Donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice.
