Norbert Ellingson Our awesome Dad, Norbert Ellingson, went home to be with Jesus on Thanksgiving Day. He was born September 4, 1919 in Parshall, ND. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian. He is also survived by his brother, Byron Ellingson; daughter Maren Ellingson; two sons, Mark and Kris Ellingson and many grandchildren and great grand- children. He was preceded in death by his brothers Alton and Arnold Ellingson and his sister Elaine Nicholes. Norbert was a school teacher and served in World War II. He loved antiques and shopping for bargains. He especially loved clocks, watches, antique tools, and cars. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, traveling with Vivian, working on any "project" and serving his church. A memorial will be held in his honor on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 1pm at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, on 38th Street, Tacoma, Washington. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
