Evelyn Rosalie Carlock, 76, of Grammer, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 12:40 a.m. Sunday at Columbus Regional Hospital after a short illness.
Born Feb. 12, 1938, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Charles and Imogene Throop Hornback.
Rosalie was a 1956 graduate of Columbus High School. She loved the beauty and the quietness of country living in Grammer for the past 30 years. She was a wonderful cook and was the head cook at the Bartholomew County Children's Home, where she was loved by all. She formerly worked at Lois' Fish Stand on 17th street for several years.
Survivors include her sons, Danny Ray Frazier of Seymour and Robert Douglas Frazier of North Vernon; granddaughters, Allison and Kerri Frazier of North Vernon; brothers, Steve Hornback and Randy (Patti) Hornback, both of Columbus; sister, Patti (Sonny) Gillespie of Venice, Florida; and dearly loved uncle, Vernon (Dorothy) Cox of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Joy Clark.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street in
Columbus, with Virgil Coltfelter officiating. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
