Edward Lee Canada, 76, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at home under the care of his loving daughter, Paula.

Born July 14, 1937, in Delta, Ky., he was the son of the late Hurstle and Bessie (Kidd) Canada. On Sept. 24, 1965, he married Sharon Murphy in Seymour.
Edward was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a retired truck driver.
He leaves behind four children, Gina (Rhoderick) Fitzpatrick, Paula Canada, Wayne Canada and Caleb Canada; two grandchildren, Lauren and Sarah Fitzpatrick; one brother, Chester Canada; and many friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev. Philip Bloch officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rite conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans, Korean War and Vietnam veterans, all of Seymour.
