Joseph "Joe" Allen Castetter, 66, Seymour, passed away peacefully at home March 10, 2013, with his family by his side.

Joe graduated from North Vernon High School in 1965. He was in the U.S. Navy and also worked at and retired from Cummins Inc. After retirement, he worked at Seymour Tubing Co. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing.
Born Oct. 14, 1946, in Seymour, he was the son of Wilford and Frances (Miles) Castetter. On June 27, 1969, in Vernon, he married Elaine Woodard Castetter, who survives.
Other survivors include his children, Kelly (Tracy) Nolan, Jonathan (Barb) Castetter, Ann (Dean) Walters, Bill (Rhiannon) Castetter and Adam (Laikyn) Castetter; grandchildren, Corey, Kyle, Jake and Emily Nolan, Natasha Langford, Trint and Tyler Castetter, Hunter Senn, Avery, Sam and Addy Castetter, Christopher and Courtney Walters, and Marley,
Jaydon and Brailyn Castetter; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Brad) Hendricks and Patty (Jeff) Leonard; and one brother, Charles Castetter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Coleen Phares.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Seymour, with Father Dan Staublin officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery Four Corners with full military rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47 and Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the family or Hospice of
Schneck Medical Center.
